The one thing that got rid of my acne for good!
I couldn’t believe it at the time and still can’t believe it to this day!
I started suffering from acne at the age of 13 (unlucky for me!) I prayed it would just be an adolescent phase, but it got slowly worse and by the age of 15 the acne had completely destroyed my self confidence.
I watched as all my friends got all the girls while I couldn’t even pluck up the courage to ask them out, I should have been having the time of my life but instead I just grew more shy and self conscious. I even got called names like spotty and red head…
I shudder at the thought of those days even now.
On top of all that, the daily routine of applying the acne skin product or taking the acne pills was so depressing…
Believe me, you name it – I’ve tried it. Every acne product from retin-a, zenmed, herbal acne pills like acnezine and biodermazine to countless face washes and bleaches, ruining several of my favourite t-shirts in the process. I’ve even used my moms facemasks for oily skin! Against the advice of my friends and family I even tried Accutane and made myself quite ill in the process.
